Here's a fun idea to play with.

Below is a photo of the top of a table I have at home. Stare at it on your screen or download and print it out. Use it to find shapes (crazy or otherwise) that you can see - or barely make out. It's just for fun, and there is no right or wrong answer. It helps to loosen up your brain from what "should" be there to "what you actually perceive," which is important if you are drawing/painting something and not what you think it should look like.

In any case, have fun. I'll post my results tomorrow.
